offroading trails san jose area?

since im seeing post about it on here recently.anyone near san jose ca area know of anywhere to go offroading that is 2wd friendly? i know of only one place and thats in hollister wich is a little far, im looking for like some nice dirt trails ....ideas? that are legal? or atleast no chains blocking the path lol?

There isn't much closer than Hollister. The Santa Cruz Mountains may have some, but I'm not sure where. A group of us might be heading to Hollister on Sunday if you want to join.

i would but no money as of the moment,plus i am planning on a lift kit as soon as i get my income taxes done....be more fun!

im more looking for some trails that i can go test new gear on before i go out far....

Hollister isn't very technical if you don't want it to be. It's a great place to test out the new suspension as you can take any number of different rated trails.

What lift are you going with BTW?

lol i wanted a 4x4 but ended up with a 2wd, but its alright....its more of a work car anyways.....but i do construction so some jobs are semi offroad...


and i am going with toytecs ome 3 inch lift....

Hollister in Feb is a very different thing than Hollister in July/Aug.

It is far safer to wheel when it is dry up there.
