A week of work later, and this is what you end up with, not too shabby if I do say so myself. Thanks @FNWheels and @MStudt for the parts.

A few quick shots for now. I'll see about getting some better ones when I have some free time. Need a panhard bar bracket and likely a diff drop.

Long overdue for an update.

My mileage kept dropping per tank, and I was over watching the CEL... so I finally got off my butt and swapped the 01 donor motor I had sitting for over a year. Was completely resealed and got the ceramic coated TRD headers installed at the same time.

Half ass jerry rigged (read: super leaking) currently to the midpipe and working on getting a new 2.5" with high flow components made up to have installed.

Work from today:

Have more photos of when I was doing the swap that I need to upload still.

Exhaust will be TRD headers, flex pipe, Vibrant high flow cat, Vibrant resonator & Gibson muffler. All 2.5" with v-band joints.

For record keeping:
Motor was installed at 1982xx
Motor mileage was 176xxx
New timing belt, water pump, pulley mount, idlers, thermostat, plugs, wires, oil pan sealant, front & rear main seals, and oil pump o-ring.
Headers were installed with a gasket kit from Remflex (PN: 7013), since the TRD gaskets are garbage.

Exhaust will have an extra O2 bung for a wideband since the SC shouldn't be far behind after the exhaust is done.

Then we move onto armor. 4xinnovation sliders are waiting, and then plate for front and rear bumpers and skids likely.

Welp I got new plates on this weekend... as well as a few other "bolt ons"

Fresh bearings and seals in the charger throughout.

I knew I recognized your user name from Bimmerforums. Love your M Coupe and this 4runner is coming along nicely. Great taste in cars man.

Thanks!

Welp... the SC has been removed and the 5VZ is starting to be removed to make room for the 2UZ.

SC is being shipped today so no going back now.

Bypass that damn secondary air injection system while it's super easy access.
