ARB Bumper Bull Bar p/n 3423020
Where is the best place to buy ARB products? Amazon lists the 4Runner compatible ARB Bull bar for $829.00 delivered.
Should I act? Seems like the best deal around.

ARB 4x4 Accessories Part 3423020 - Bull Bar Winch Mount Bumper-RH1
I got mine from 4wheelparts (link above) a few years back for $750 shipped to my door. When they have a big site wide sale they tend to be lenient on discounting items. You HAVE to call them though to work out a deal and you must be willing to pay right then. You may not get it for the price I did but you can probably still get a good deal on it. The worse that can happen is they say they can't discount it and you're in the spot you're in now.

A second look revealed that the reference I made was the same offer. They sell through amazon. I am beginning to think that that is the best deal around.
Thanks for the feedback!

Wheelers Offroad has it for 785. Not sure what shipping is on Amazon or the other site, but on Weelers it is 140-210 depending. They're based out of Oregon, so you shouldn't have to pay any tax either

I got mine last year from 4wheelparts.com for $800 shipped. Found it on autoanything.com and got 4wheelparts to price match (free shipping).

do it. ARB has set the dealer price at just over $750. this means you can not buy one from anyone for under $750, unless they want to pay for part of your bumper themselfs and lose their ability to every buy from ARB again. -about a year ago or so a few of the prominent names in 4wheeling aftermarket accessories, like Warn, ARB, and others set out to cut lose those who undersold the MSRP... basically telling retailers that if they want to continue to be able to purchase and sell their products, then they will sell at at least this price($xxx.xx), and if you sell under that price we will cut you and your ability to every buy anything from us again. and a way to enforce that was to raise the dealer cost to the retailers to ensure that they did not under sell...
dont quote me but i think the MSRP on that bumper is like $825 -i think thats what ARB set it at. -now a way some of these retailers are getting away with selling at like $770 is then they charge you an outrageous charge on shipping and the excess on the shipping charge covers the deficit on the sale price. so basically you are not going to find a better deal for that bumper unless you buy it used.

What mod did you have to do to fit the ARB bumper on your 4runner?

take a look-see through this and it should clear all that up for you, i did an almost step by step guide in the instal, and there is some good thoughts and feed back from me and others in there as to modifications that are needed or not needed to make this work well and properly. its pretty straight forward... - the Rescue Runner build thread

That is a great write up. Also, when I got mine it came with a frame extension that I plan to use for the frame end mod as I've read that others have done, it gives you a pre-welded nut on the end!

1997 Toy 4 Runner ARB front bumper install question
Since I hit a deer with my late model GMC truck late last month, I purchased a good 1997 4 Runner to get around in bad weather and to take on the disobediant bambi population; well to top it off, I hit a deer the first day driving it to work. Screwed up the front bumper, grille, headlight, turn signal, and right front fender. I have been looking at the ARB front bumpers # 3423020 ( http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-T..._pn=ARB3423020) that would replace the whole bumper assembly and give a grille protection. The manufacturer states that the bumper is around 150 pounds and should be easy to install with SOME modifications to the frame rails. Apparently there is a tab that has to be ground off of the frame. Is there anyone out there that has any background on this bumper install?
The bumper is listed as a fit for the Tacoma 1995 to 2004, but the ARB tech people says that it will fit the 4 Runners.

there are a ton of write-ups, both here and on YT and ExPo and T120, about the frame end cap mod and just how much of the frame rail you have to cut off...

seriously dude...!? two posts above yours i posted a link to my build where it walks you through this almost step by step, showing you what bolts you have to replace, and what you have to cut, and what you need to weld ect... come on man read a little bit here. and no the bumper does not way 150lbs, i dont know where you read that, but its wrong. i installed the bumper by myself in my garage/driveway, in around 2-3hrs while trying to make sense of instructions and taking pics for the build thread/wright up, id say the bumper weighs around 75-80lbs... without a winch
