Red face Uwharrie National Forest

I drove down to Uwharrie today, and went past the Eldarodo Outpost and found what i guess is the entrance to the trails. But they were closed of course.http://im.toyota-4runner.org/images/...s/closed_2.gif

So any of yall who have been there, was i in the right area or not? Thanks!

You were in the right area, and they are closed for the next couple weeks. Opening late March

If you were to be leaving the Eldorado Outpost, you would make a right onto the main drag, the next right is where you would go to find the trails.

I went down the gravel road leading to the trails, but i only saw 2 . Did i miss some or do those 2 trails take you to the next ones?

As you go down the gravel road the first big left you see is the Daniel trail head entrance. It is the hardest trail out there, but by no means impossible, we have guided several stock FJ's up with no problems.

The next left you see will take you towards several trails, Rocky Mountain Loop, being the biggest.

If you continue down the gravel road you came in on you will after several miles see the entrance to Wolfs Den, and even still further you can take a left and head towards Falls Dam/Art Liley campground
