help pick a wheel color!
I want to paint my wheels since my lift and new tires are going on this week. I was trying to do something other than black. Curios if anyone thinks a desert tan or bronze would look good? Give me your opinions and ideas

For some reason, with red vehicles, I just love seeing an all black wheel with a red lip that matches the body. That just looks so clean to me.
I know you want to be different than black, and i was thinking red but all red to me would look sort of silly. Bronze would look sort of weird on your red. But you could do gun metal. Remember, these are all just my opinion. Do whatever makes you happy.

Opinion is exactly what I'm looking for! Red IMO would be to much. I just don't want to do black but I may end up doing that. I've seen the bronze trd wheels on a red fj and I though it looked good

Maybe a gunmetal charcoal color would look good.

X2 on the Black wheels with red, especially with the black flares you've got going on there. You've already got a strong black/red color palette there and I'm a big fan of simplifying things. Heck, I'd probably simplify even more and switch to clear corners (and bumper lights if you haven't done those) just to get rid of any orange on the rig.

Like Brian said, black with red lip would look great. I think gunmetal would look really cool too.

I own a radiant red tacoma ( in my avatar). I've thought this over, and played with gunmetal, bronze, black (with and without red trim), in my 12 years of owning the truck.
In my opinion, painted silver and/or polished aluminum look best -- it's what the truck started with, and I finally settled on that look.

I have a sunfire red with black flares and cladding (not exactly the same), but I feel black wheels look good with the black and red contrast. It just fits a bit better and I'm not a huge fan of multiple colors on a vehicle. My previous wheels were a hammered black (greyish gunmetal color) It looked good, but off with the black flares.
Hammered Black
Matte Black

I agree with silver. Black and red is such a common combination. Maybe anthracite?

Here's a really bad 5 minute Photo Shop edit Personally, either black or charcoal gray (leaning towards black).
Hope it helps!
P.S. I just noticed I forgot to darken up the bronze, my bad!
