You don't need one but they can break if you're not careful so it's always good to have a spare one.

Hey guys quick question

Im from Canada and im doing a full front end re-vamp just for preventative mainatnance. Im ordering from Toyotapartsoversock.com and I just wanted to make sure I have everything correct.

Inner Tie rods? (End-SubAssy,Tie Rod RH) 4504639335
(End SubAssy,Tie Rod, LH) 4504739215

LBJ (Joint Assy, Lower Ball Front LH) 4334039465
(Joint Assy, Lower Ball Front RH) 4333039585

As for the Upper Ball joints on the site there are 2 different ones one with the Part # stated in the beginning of this thread and another one, anyone know if they are the same ,both of them have an applied discount on them (41.65 and $35.90)

The cheaper one has the right part# and is also the cheaper one, Im just confirming so I don't order the wrong one.

heres a pic

@JWaldz suggesting another part number to add. As @MandAtaco found, the jam nut on the outer tie rod can be seized and need to be replaced. The part number is 90170-20003

BTW.. looks like all my links are dead b/c Toyota Parts Zone became Toyota Parts Deal. Will need to do a little updating soon. Might just remove the links all together.

Update: Links are back up

Thanks man! Happen to know if the OEM LBJ's and OTR's come with the castle nuts? I know the OTR's don't come with the jam nuts.
