Which bumpstops to buy??
So I just threw down a wad-o-cash on a complete ICON 2.5 inch front extended travel coilovers with reservoirs and 2.5 rear extended reservoir setup for my rig. ( I got some limit straps too for the rear)
I figure I probably need to upgrade the bumpstops too.
Timbrens are so expensive and I am already $2,800 into this upgrade.
Are Daystar competition bumpstops any good, and if so, which size to get??
I have done alot of research on here but cant find the part numbers.
I know Sonoran Steel has them but he wants too much and my buddy is a fabricator so he is willing to help me make whatever mount mods necessary.
Thanks guys.
Dave

Also do I get them with a post or a plate mount, etc.
Sorry for the dumb questions. I am a Financial Advisor not a mechanic!!!

They are held in place by a single 1/2" bolt each. And bolt onto 4runners using the stock bump stop bolt on your 4runner.
'95-'05 Chevy blazers / GMC Jimmy / Olds bravada
They look like this, in either 2 door or 4 door.

I have tons of those things down here in my local yard in decent condition. I can pick some up and ship them to you if you need.

That works or wheelers has the 2nd gen tacoma superbumps. They are like 50 and screw into the stock location for the front. Feel real good too. I have the 2.5 icons extended up front too.

I already have two pair of the junkyard bump stops sitting in my garage if you're interested in them. PM me. I picked up two extra sets when I went to get my own, for occasions just like this.

"Shmabs" is going to sell me some rear junkyard ones. Thanks for all the offers and help. The T4R forum community is so great!

Wheelers 2nd gen super bump stops. In the rear I'm going to make a custom bump stop extension and use the same type in the rear.

They are super soft. I can compress them with a finger. The up travel is the same as stock. They compress down to less then half the size you see there. I love them. I was considering air bumpstops but I'm going to run these for a while.
