2.5in leveling kit and 33s

Hey everyone! I'm new here, actually I'm new to 4runners all together! I bought my 1999 sr5 just a few days ago and I love it,but there's one downside...it looks extremely sissy! And while being in a budget I can't quite afford a nice lift kit yet so here's my question, I have seen pics of people with only a 2in lift and they still fit 33in tires on there truck. If I were to get the daystar leveling kit for the front and rear on my SR5 will I be able to fit 285x75x16s without rubbing? Any opinion and thoughts would be very very helpful as I look forward to learning more and contributing my knowledge as best I can. The pic is of a 2in lift with 33s, can I expect similar results?

I have a similar problem and I'm wondering if you run wheel spacers and a 2-3" lift if you can run a 30-33" 285 with out cutting and trimming.

I have a 2.5" lift and 285/75/16 on my 2001. I only rub my front bumper Valance very little at close to full turn. If If I went wheeling a lot it would be a bigger problem. there is not enuff room to do much flexing

I have 3" front and 3.5" rear suspension with a 1.5" body lift. The front valence rubbed and need trimmed. Even with some trimming if I'm turning and hit a bump it still rubs. Also at full flex in the rear the stock rear bumper rubs on the back of the 33's with my setup, light trimming needed on the rear steel bumper if offroading. Also more of an issue with mud tires as they seem to rub a lot more than all terrains so tire type also comes into play.

Im sorry to be annoying but i like your setup, so your kit, did it include new shocks and coils? or was it just spacers you put on the top of the stock coils in the front and rear? I only ask cause i have never heard of block spacers.

Its no bother. They were just spacers put on top. very in expensive but effective for me. The kit came with the front and rear spacers and a diff drop kit for under 250.00. EBAY was my friend
