Steering Rack Bushing Help

I've read several threads and cant get that danged middle bolt/nut off. I've read threads that say it's the hardest to access and its a pain in the ass and its sucks to get to...well they are all right! I just wanna know how you guys got to it eventually

It's the 19mm hiding behind the rack.

Steering rack bushing replacement

Thanks

Rick

I helped a neighbor do his a couple of years back; we just took a long breaker to get it off if I remember correctly.

We used this post as a guide:

I'll try again this weekend. If i could get it to break I'd be set but I just could never get the angle right and got very frustrated.

Forgive me for asking, but are you trying to turn that bolt from the top? Because that nut at the bottom is welded on and it won't turn no matter what angle you use.
