crossover pipe

Has anyone removed crossover pipe and ran down and back under and tied back into system.

the flex pipe that connects the driver side exhaust to the passenger side?

yes i had to fix a exhaust leak a few years ago in my 96, it involved taking the driver side head off.

as far as moving it to go straight out the back of the engine. no i haven't heard of anyone doing that.
