Memorial Day
To all the people across this great country of ours and those on this forum I've never met who proudly served their country a very heartfelt "thank you" on this Memorial Day. For without your service and dedication non of this would be possible. Thank you and may you have a blessed day.

Never forget those that gave all. I'll post up just one that is especially important to me. There are thousands of others I don't know, that are all equally important.
Nate was the Son-in-law of one of my best friends. He was the best of the best. But despite his skill and dedication, he was still the most humble and decent person you could ever hope to meet.
RIP, Nate.

To those who want to properly show their thanks, I'll submit a list of desired T4R upgrades.
Seriously though, about every other service member I know will agree with me when I say that I never did it for recognition; I did it simply because I knew I had to.
We spent today doing "Murph" - a CrossFit workout consisting of the following:
- 1 mile run
- 100 pullups
- 200 pushups
- 300 air squats
- 1 mile run
It was BRUTAL...but there are other people who live with pain every day as a result of the current and other wars. It was a great and physical way to remind myself of their sacrifice.

Navy Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Darrik C. Benson
a childhood friend of mine i grew up with. i was shocked and stunned when i heard the news, it brought home to me the fact that none of us, no matter how well trained or how much of a badass we are(or think we are), are immune to death.
DAMN FEW!

Yes, yes it does. LOL Great job for doing it though - I don't care how you scale it or how long it takes done, anyone who does Murph at all is bad@$$ for doing it.

My hat goes off to all the fellow veterans and active duty on this site.
If anyone reading this doesn't know it already ... Any veteran who served oversees now qualifies for 5 years of full VA primary healthcare upon separation. This is separate from any injury % rating. Combined with the post 9/11 GI-BILL the benefits are very good for those interested in higher education.
