Help! P0300, p0301, p0302

Alright guys. So as some of you know, my motor has been destined to fail for quite some time now. (Check my Timeline Thread for entire story.) I've got a solid lit CEL and its throwing codes P0300, P0301, and P0302. Multiple / Random misfire, misfire cylinder 1, misfire cylinder 2. What can cause 2 cylinders to misfire at the same time? I'm leaning toward head gasket failure as i'm seeing puffs of white smoke on a cold start. It is at my mechanics shop right now. I'm waiting to hear back. The motor already has a piston slap. I'm thinking the damage to the pistons is beginning to take its toll on the motor. Could that be why I'm getting simultaneous misfire? It has blown 3 head gaskets. One of them not even 20,000 miles ago. I've had it about for almost 14k and no problems until now. I've researched and come up with nothing where 1 and 2 went bad together. I'll probably swap a used motor in it because I fear this one is too far out of spec to rebuild. Any ideas?

I believe I may be on original plugs and wires too. I hate neglectful previous owners... and tight budgets.

3 head gaskets and it still has the original plugs and wires?? Somebody needs a new mechanic! If they are original I'd start there to fix the misfiring.

Ask him for compression check numbers.

Are you losing any coolant over time?

As with Kevin, replace the wires and plugs. Then start looking for a used engine (Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market) and you can switch over the new plugs and wires if you have to go this route.
