Finally you made a build thread! Interesting story behind your 4Runner. For some reason I always assumed it was black, then you got it painted matte black. Very tasteful mods. Looks great!

Installed the new radio. Excuse the other mess of random wires. I need to clean those up.
Soldered and heat shrunk new harness.
Installed.
Put the microphone for the Bluetooth into the front map lights. I need to clean it up a little bit still. And make some more room behind the microphone so that it doesn't stick out as far.

It's a Pioneer FH-X700BT. I got it for $120 off amazon. Its a pretty great radio for the price.

I've been wanting to go up there. Just haven't had any time. Hopefully soon I should be able to. I'll let you know. There isn't anything too close to the trail that would scratch my paint? That's my only worry. Haha.

There may be a few branches sticking out and a few plants that youll hit. But nothing serious that will stick out like a sore thumb. A good old wash and wax will make it look brand new again. As soon as I get my new 4Runner, I'll most likely be there every day haha

Yeah I can't really fully wax or buff my paint. But it's kinda like a fire road isn't it?

I'd hardly call it a trail... It's more like a bumpy road, with dust and pebbles. It's when you get off to the side that you'll have fun on the rocks. There's some slightly rocky parts and some really rocky nasty parts.
Now you are both 2WD.... Luckily I have an ARB recovery strap courtesy of T4ROTM March 2012. Get stuck all you want, I'll help you.

Alright sounds good. Probably still a few weeks though until I have time.

Installed OME 906 coils in the rear.
While taking off the front drivers side tire to adjust the front coilovers, I broke off a wheel stud. Stupid guy at the tire place from last week just impacted the crap out of the lug nuts. Passengers side were too tight as well but luckily I didn't break one of those off. Punched it out and replaced the stud and lug nut for $7 from autozone.
Also hadn't realized that oem toyota pads were supposed to have shims so installed those.
Adjusted the coilovers. Raised them up 1/2 inch of threading on each side.
Since I installed the Tacoma LBJ's, the tie rod end would hit the crappy end links from the addco sway bars at full lock and make a disgusting scraping noise. And I needed some longer ones since I was lifting it a little more. I picked up front moog end links from rockauto for $35, and for the rear I got 2nd gen end links for $24. The tie rods now no longer hit and so no more disgusting noise.
Old front end link.
New front end link.
Installed.
New rear end link.
Installed.
Done.

Thanks. Yeah I didn't really have the time before to put the effort into a build thread.
