Question Any opinions??

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me a few opinions on this ad? 2002 Toyota 4runner - Badlands i bet i could get it to 9k which isnt bad. It's a 2002 Badlands, which is the Canadian Sport Edition basically. It has the centre differential locking button. Could anyone give me any opinions? Thank you alot.

It seems overpriced for what it is to me. But then maybe that's just the market for 3rd gen's where you are.

All 4wd '01-'02 3rd gens have the center diff lock. As did the '99-'00 Limited 4wd's. Although the '99-'00 Limited's are a little different from the '01-'02's, in how the center diff lock is engaged.

230k on the drivetrain. 150k on an unknown history replacement engine. Steel wheels, and abused at least a bit, based on the dents they haven't bothered to fix.

I personally would keep looking.

Look's good! Just check under it for rust.
I don't know what the market is like for 4Runner's up there, but I feel like $9,800 is a little too much for a 4Runner with a replacement engine. If it had those miles (or kilometers) on an original engine then maybe $9,800 is a fair price. So I think you have some negotiating room.

I already did all the Canada to US conversions so I can relate a little better.

I kinda agree with 02SE about possibly passing on this one.

Take your time when searching for the right 4Runner. You'll know when you find "the one"
