I'm going to just come out and say this, OP:

I'm sorta in love with your truck. I Love, Love, Love the anthracite color, the black wheels, the 265/75's, rack, lift, locker, 99+ console...and you live in Oregon, somewhere I hope to visit and potentially live one day.

Thanks very much for the compliment! I sincerely think you should find your way out here
sometime. I grew up in New England and after coming here 20 yrs ago - can't bring myself to leave!

So check this out - I roll into work today and see this:

New girl is on her 3rd(!) 3rd Gen in as many months - keeps finding ones she likes better.
Either I have an admirer, or a new nemesis. At least I can sneak parts off it as mine gets more and more bashed...

Curious if those coils have settled in the back yet and what your measurement came out to. Installing this weekend, & the anticipation is killing me;-)

They did, and then they didn't..??
I just went out and checked and the driver was 23.5" hub to flare
and the passenger was 22.25" So something is still up (or down)...I might trim pack it,
but that really doesn't solve the issue. I'm contacting Wheeler's on Monday.

The silver lining is the 890s seem to ride very well regardless.

Sooooo...kind of a quick, dumb amendment to that previous post.
I was measuring on a deceivingly level parking surface and was getting erroneous numbers.
The ride height in back is fine - slightly biased to driver-high, but basically 23" on both rears

So, @RIDEALL I'm guessing yours will settle well. They ride nice and have impressive flex.

Hey! Sorry I missed this...
The cable is tucked behind the Driver Side B pillar trim panel. I
had to scallop some of the plastic to fit the wire, but nothing major.
Then under the carpet behind the front seats, forward under the
Passenger door trim/kick panel and brought into the center console.

If your looking to install anything, let me know - I'd be glad to help!

Welcome to the Anthracite Metallic Club! Hands down the best color, and hard to find as well. Digging the build so far man. Witch wheels are those on your co-workers runner I really like 'em. Are they oem wheels?

@541joseph sounds good! (I went manual hubs on my '94 instead)

@Park This is kinda the most bad-ass color Toyota has made, I still walk out to it
and think, "man, this thing means business!"

ETA: I believe the wheels are 4th gen 17" OEMs

@GhostRing ya I would do manual hubs but switch is cheaper and I'm lazy.

Your truck is great looking. What are your plans for mods coming up?

I need to make a front bumper. Soon.
Some better internal storage/drawers is also top of list.

Have you thought about plasti dipping your emblems? Black complements our color really well imo. Also you've got to get rid of that chrome bumper; Mabey plasti dip it too?

So I survived my 1st year at T4R...!
A great community that I look forward to both learning from and contributing to much more.
I'm feeling good about the coming year - re-organized my priorities, got the shop back up and running, and am ready to start getting dirty...

Small collection of recent activity...

Thanks to everyone here who continually pushes the boundaries of creativity, destruction, and adventure. Keep it up!
