Correct, you have to keep the wiring and components to match your chassis. So the wiring modules, etc, need to match your rig.
The wiring of the original hatch plus all the modules, etc, in the other hatch will work. Don't mix and match not going to work. There are too many changes in the circuits from mid gen to late gen.
I wouldn't even try the wiper and the window regulators. [ they may but you have it all]
The metal hatches identical same with the doors and body panels.
This is the sake for the doors and engine harnesses. Always keep the original wire harnesses intact with their pieces. If you do. Your stuff works.
