Here is mine. Kinda glad to know it's nOT just called purple. Not sure if I'm glad to find out it has such a "fabulous" real name though.

All these Stellars makes me regret not buying this color instead of the Millenium Silver. Should have listened to my gut instead of the wife...lol

@ ryhi
, is that a 35" spare tire on the tire carrier? I just ordered the same bumper with swing out and have been wanting to see how it looks with a 35 since I have some waiting to be mounted. Looks great!

Both the hood and the grille look to be in very good condition. I don't know how someone would get the hood other than having the winning bid on the entire vehicle. If a Stellar Blue owner in the Conneticut area got this 4Runner for under $1,000 you could probably sell the good parts for well over that and end up with a free Stellar Blue sport hood... and maybe even make some money in the process. The engine looks to be completely intact... it looks like it might crank. The minimum bid is $25.
I would like to have the grille.

Damn, you really are good at finding these things. At $25 it's almost worth me taking the drive for the parts I could use (engine, seats, door panels, HOOD). On Christmas break till January 12, decisions decisions.
Edit: Shipping to the door is $878. Assuming I get a working, clean engine and the hood, it's almost worth that price alone. Considering I could part out on a lot of it like lights, miscellaneous interior/exterior parts and make some of the money back, I may be able to hopefully, possibly convince the pops to buy into this.

At almost $900 I wouldn't get it shipped if I were you. At least this sport hood/vehicle is located on the same coast as where you live (as compared to getting my hood from Long Beach, CA to College Station, TX). Virginia Beach, VA to East Windsor, CT looks to be almost a 500 mile trip https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Virg...9!2d41.9161361 - a longer drive than I would have guessed. It might be worth it to borrow a trailer (you don't need an enclosed one) and pick up the 4Runner in person. It could be done in two days. Even if you had to rent one from UHaul it would be relatively cheap and after that we are talking about gas money, one night in a cheap motel, lots of caffeine, and some sammies. There has to be at least $3,000 worth of parts on that 4Runner - especially if it cranks up.
If you do end up getting the vehicle and don't want the Sport Edition grille (and it is in good condition as shown in the photos) I would love to have first dibs on buying it from you.
Fee Calculator
If Final Bid is:
$25.00
Auction Fee:
$80.00
Transaction Fee:
$250.00
Documentation Fee:
$55.00
Total (USD):
$410.00

Unfortunately, I don't think this is the one. Too late of a notice for too far, if it was closer, it wouldn't be too hard but we don't have a vehicle to tow or a place to store the new vehicle. Shipping is $878 which would be tough to do as a surprise expense. I can only hope for another one of these to pop up closer, but with this color, it's a very small chance.

I understand where you are coming from - there are so many obstacles. It is also a matter of perspective as far as the distance. Here in Texas you can drive 8 to 9 hours and still be in the state. On Interstate 10 it takes 13 hours to drive from Orange, TX to El Paso, TX. This is the halfway point between the Texas/Louisiana border and Los Angeles which is a 26-hour drive... I used to live in Los Angeles and made the 26-hour drive from Beaumont, TX to Los Angeles a number of times.
You might be able to find out which salvage yard this vehicle goes to and try to get just the hood from them. If you know someone in the Conneticut area you might be able to get them to pick up the hood for you and hold it for you until the next time you go north... just an idea. There is also the Greyhound shipping option. Help Needed in Wilmington/Long Beach Cali Area... bought a Stellar Bue Sports Hood! I wouldn't give up on this hood if I were you.
You nailed it when you said how rare these are. This is only the second Stellar Blue sports hood I've seen since I've been looking. When I saw the photos of the one in Long Beach, CA I decided right then and there I was going to get it no matter what. You are in the heavily populated eastern seabord... chances are that another one will pop up a little closer to you at some point. I'm actually surprised that there isn't a Stellar Blue owner in the Conneticut area who isn't all over this one.
When you look at the damage to this 4Runner it is a minor miracle that the hood is still in great shape, especially when you take a close look at the passenger side photo. Hopefully this nice hood goes to a fellow Stellar Blue forum member.

Level 8 MK6
Do you think a Stellar Blue would look good with bronze Level 8 MK6s?
