Flatboys rear turbo build
Thanks Clownmeat and Yoterman87 for your turbo build threads.
Pretty much 2 years ago I picked up a ultra low mileage 2000 Limited.
(Please note: this is a build and things change over time as I realize other options, experiment, and receive education, what happens in the front of these pages might change later on. Best to read the whole build and make your own decisions as I'm no expert, happy reading)
Shayne

So this is as far as she's goten right now, I put a 1/8" thick plate on the t3 flange so I can drive it if I need, but man its loud!
I've got a couple gauges to put, install scavange pump, run oil lines, and get the spare tire back under.
thanks for looking

this is awesome! is there going to be tuning hardware needed and a ton of dyno time? how about fuel system mods? i dig turbos for some reason even though the supercharger is the old standby for our trucks.

Looks pretty good but my first thoughts were what are you going to do when it rains or snows? Your intake is gonna suck allot of water up being there.

Nice skills. Really dig the inovation and craftsmanship of some of the members on here.
Can't wait to see how this porgresses. Wish I lived somewhere, that didn't require smog/visual inspections every 2 years.

Thanks for the compliments guys, and I feel really lucky we don't have any smog up here yet but one day it'll but in the mean time turbo baby.
Waste gate spring is 5lbs, and with the wide band I'll keep a eye one the a/f, and if she needs some fuel I'll do a snow meth kit. Kinda wanna be around 8-9 lbs when it's all said and done so it'll wanting abit of something.
Not too worried about the snow and we don't see a ton of rain up here either, plus after driving in the rain it ain't all that wet up there, so we'll see, maybe a bit of a guard or something.
Got a few dyno shops up here and maybe 1 day, but road dyno is where it's at plus I've got a innovate LMA-3 which does rpm, egt, duty cycle, pressure, and acceleration sitting in a box from some old turbo builds. Would like to see 220 rwhp at 9lbs
