it all started with this 2000 Tacoma. I would have kept her if it wasn't for the lack of room and the fact that it was only 2wd. Plus i've always been obsessed with how the 4runner looks.

After I sold it, I quickly went on the look for a 4x4 4runner
I found a 1997 with only 89,000 miles, no problems(the back seat was only sat in 4 times!) for $6,600.
Here she was bringing to the house (Almost ran out of gas on the way home lol)

The First Day with it I removed the running boards, it's a night and day difference.

After a few days i decided to remove that chrome trim/flares. One of them was only hanging on by a screw and was all bent so instead of spending $100 i decided to just get rid of em

I saw a t4r member remove the lower valence. I thought it looked cool so i decided to do it.

I had to put the TRD Decals on, I love the Look

I've heard lots of good things about the Rustoleum Bed Liner so I thought why not try it out. I did it to the front bumper, loved the look, then decided to do the rear and wheels and grill. I love it so much more

Hi Sir,

How do you remove the lower valence? Is it a simple pull until it comes off or can it be removed and then put back on if I wish to in the future? It seems to expose the underside and radiator more.

Nice nice start man, looking bad-ass! MONEYPIT is the perfect name! Good looking Tacoma too. Looking forward to the rest of your build.

Nice find! Only 89k on the Odo? You got real lucky there!

It's just a few bolts holding the bumper and valence together, it's very easy to take off and very easy to put back on in the future.
