Been reading this forum for about a month now and created an account as research for a new to me 3rd Gen 4Runner build and decided to stop lurking and say hi! It looks like there's plenty of knowledge here... I hope to contribute in some way or another. I admit its a different scene for me... Here's a few pics of the other project cars.... including my Toyota's from back in the day!

I needed something to fit a car seat for my 1 year old daughter so I looked online and found this Certified Pre-Owned at Longo Toyota. I went that evening to the dealership and test drove it. It wasnt the Sport model that I wanted but it was in great condition for a 12 year old truck, so I gave them $1000 deposit and told them i'll be back the next day with the remaining in cash.

Here's a picture of her the night I bought her at Longo Toyota nearly a month ago.

Thanks! Yup... big change... My Company got hit hard with the whole "Hope and Change" and we are still trying to recover... ( I voted twice for the other guys!!! ) in the mean time I had a change in priorities which resulted in a cutback and downsize. I couldnt fit a baby seat in any of the other cars and I wanted a recreational truck for future outdoor activities with my family. I have always loved the 3rd gen 4Runner but never had an excuse to get one.

This is my new project... my girlfriend is always complaining that my cars are too low and not practical so the first thing I want to do is have it lifted and get wheels with big tires! Lol... I hope I have the opportunity to learn and meet local SoCal members from this T4R community.

Nice Ferrari! My step dad had a GTO, great car. Sad to hear about the totals, hope your runner will get you places and welcome to the forum! Are you lifting it?
