No need for wood blocks or a jack.... Leave the upper control arm and lower control arms bolts loose. As well as the bolt that connects the strut to the lower control arm. These should be the last bolts you tighten after you get the vehicle back on the ground and bounce the suspension a couple times.

Or were you referring to taking the strut out?

I am just worried about two things. How I am going to get my big butt down there to tighten everything up and how tight should they be when I put it back on the ground before I do a final tighten.

If your butts to big, find someone with a smaller butt. You should be able to reach everything while sitting on a 5 gallon bucket if you turn the wheel one way or another and reach what you can while its turned. Or lay on the ground...

I dont have the torque specs off hand. Gutentight seems to work well but the specs can be found in the Haynes manual which you should have if you are going this deep into working on your rig. Someone may come along and post them meanwhile, though.

Torque specs should be in the 3rd Gen sticky thread.

Kit came in today and the LBJs came in earlier than expected! Word of advice to anyone looking to buy OEM LBJs get them from 1sttoyotaparts.com I saved about 60 bucks and they were really nice when I called in! Install is happening next Saturday I will post pics when we are done. I also hope to get some install pics to maybe lend another tutorial.

Thank you all again for the advice and help!
