Sketchy drilling

Im getting ready to install these sr5 black flares but dont know how to go about drilling into the rear wheel well lip. Anyone have any advice on drilling on such a small lip?

Carefully

But in all seriousness, i've been looking into getting the limited flares so i wonder some of the members opinions who have done this before. I've seen a few threads on here where people did them, maybe they'll show what they did?

Hit the spots you want to drill through with a centre punch first. That will stop the drill bit from wandering.

Then use a small drill bit to make the hole.

A pneumatic sheetmetal drill and a really sharp #40 bit, along with a center punch.
