When will i need adjustable panhard bar?
Seems the general opinion is no on the drop bracket from toytec. I have a 3 inch revtek lift on my 00(2.5 in the rear i think) right now its an inch higher in the front via fender measurements from the ground. My co worker says "looks like your hauling a load of gravel" so its starting to get to me haha. Question is if i throw some ome 906's under the back with the spacers i think it will be around 4 inchs of lift...which i'm guessing will warrant an adjustable panhard bar.
But as they are 200 bucks I was just wondering what i could get away with. I want to do it the right way but i was just wondering what other people run or if they notice a difference with the adjustable one or not.
When i put the spacers in the bar dropped right back in place when i lowered it back onto the wheels but i have a feeling with new springs i might have to use a come along....dont wanna do that plus start have the alignment be wrong etc etc.

I would recommend instead of worrying about the panhard, to ditch the spacers and just go with OME 890's or 891's. You don't need it for 890's or 891's and spacers are no bueno.

They are 3 inch springs the Revtech lift is only 2.5 I thought? It should sit level or a little higher in the rear then the front. Just a suggestion.

my bad you are right it is 3, but just keep in mine your coils in the rear are probably really sagged, so you won't get 4in with the 906's with the spacers it will be more like 5 relative to where you are sitting now.

In my opinion (I know I'm going to get crap for this) you never need to spend $200 for adjustable. You can buy a lengthened one for half the price. You might have to search around a bit for some one who has made one and then gone a different direction. Or you can make your own. Simply cut it, line it up where you want sleeve it with a strong pipe then weld it. thats what I did. It worked great until I pulled it off with my SAS.
As far as the plates, i ran them for 2 years. No they are not as good as coilovers, but for the price they treated me just grand. It also depends on what your doing with it. If it is a highway queen plates will be just fine. If you are going to do a ton of offroad than they will work for now but you will want to keep in mind the fact that they might limit your flex.

save the money and find some LC springs and then when you go to buy the adjustable bar it wont hurt the pocket as bad......and you will have done it right

To the OP: I have about 3" rear lift and I could measure my adjustable bar to give you an idea of how long you want to extend your stock bar if you wanted to go this route.

891 is a higher spring rate than an 890 but roughly the same lift height.
