Climbers build thread(slow and steady)

A little backround on me, I'm 19 and live in Mesa Arizona, when I first got my 4runner I didn't know much about them other than they are extremely reliable and make very offroad capable vehicles. The goal for this build is to put together a truck for daily driving that can still hang off road.

A little about the truck, it's a 1999 5 speed with rear elocker (exactly what I wanted) with the tall coils and currently on 225/75r 16s after one of my 265/70r16 rugged trails blew out but I have 265/75r16 treadwright wardens that should come today

future mods:
Plate bumpers front and rear(possible homemade)
eibach front coils with bilstein 5100
Rear toytec 3 in coil with boss shocks
Savage skids
Cb radio
Tundra brakes
285/75r16s
Satoshi mod
5star rims or tundra 17sa

the week I brought it home

Then took a roadtrip to CO with and took the running boards off

So my treadwright wardens came in and I so far love them, I love the look but only time will tell to see how they stand up. I took them to walmart(mistake I know) to get them balanced and I gave them the instructions on how to balance statically and the fool just looked at them and knodded his head and proceeded to balance them dynamically with each tire requiring around 15 oz of weight... needless to say I didn't pay for the balance just the mount and im gonna find a shop that will balance them the correct way.

how they arrived, yokohama side walls

mounting at walmart, looks good lifted :P

I had to move my front bumper around because the front right(where a snowbird gave me a nice tap) was rubbing as I turned, gonna try to take it off and straighten everything out in the next couple days

Little of both my dads a hardcore jeeper so he got me into wheeling and being right at the base of the superstitions gives me an opportunity to do a lot of backpacking and climbing.

Well I'm back! After being out of the country for 6 months Im back And have been itching to work on my 4Runner.

its time for some matenience and long needed upgrades.

With my somewhat tight budget I pulled the trigger on a lift!

I ordered:

Toyota LBJs
Complete lift from toytec with eibachs and bilsteins for the front with a diff drop and toytec 3in coils in the rear with boss shocks
SS adjustable panhandle bar and steel brake lines
1.25 in spidertrax wheel spacers
Tundra 17in rims
And planning on 285/70r17 duratracs unless I can otherwise be convinced

I have the week off next week while my boss is in Moab(I wasn't worthy yet I guess...) so I plan for the transformation to happen then when all my parts arrive!

Hey I had to be honest. I bought it when I was almost 19 and had no money so all my money went to matenience (timing belt, water pump, axle seals, and other stuff) but now I'm in a much better situation so here we go!
