Have you tried turning it on and off? Haha

But what do you see whats wrong with it? Just not on or no bulb? Id take apart the housing to see real quick.

HA.. IT works fine.. It just does not light up like the ECT button next to it.. I cant remember if it even lights up or not.. No big deal.. but if its just a simple bulb ill replace it.. Dont want to be caught in the dark and cant find the rear window button..

Well It looks like it does light up..

I took mine apart on my '98 and yes, it has a bulb. Here is a picture of the rear window switch components.

I made a thread with some info for almost all bulbs when I switched out the bulbs on my '98. Check it out:

I ordered a couple of bulbs to have on hand and change out the one in my switch too. Didn't help. I haven't had the time to take the switch out and troubleshoot the issue. Probably has something to do with those thin light wires not touching their contacts correctly.

Is there a bulb for all the window switches? I recently purchased a 97 and the drivers window switch is the only one that is lit up. Thanks in advance?

Yes I believe only the driver window switch lights up, at least that's how it is in my rig.

Do the rear window switches on the drivers door light up? Or just the front?

I've only ever seen the driver's driver window switch light up, just the one switch out of all 7 side window switches inside the truck.
