Back Window Up Hack with Factory Key Fob

Some of you might have seen the back window up hack I did to my 4th gen on this thread: Back Window Up Hack with Factory Key Fob. Basically, this hack lets you put the back window back up with your factory key fob with the addition of a magnetic switch, a relay and a PAC TR7 timer model (about $30 worth of parts). The 4th gen writeup has all the details (the overall concept, which mode to program the TR7, etc.)

Well I got a 3rd gen (2000 limited 4x4 in Millenial Silver) for my son and we did he same hack to his truck. Here's a link to the youtube video: backwindow hack 3rdgen - YouTube

The hack is basically the same as the 4th gen, except that the wiring connections are different (due to the different wiring harness on the back door ECU for the 3rd gen) and I used a six second latch-hold time for the output of the PAC Audio TR7 timer, since it seemed the back window on the 3rd gen took a bit longer to go all the way up compared to my 4th gen.

I've attached a wiring diagram and a picture of how I packaged it all up. Hope you like it. Enjoy.

Standard Disclaimer: ** This is how I did it to my son's truck, not now you should do it to yours. Proceed at your own risk. **

this is a rhetorical question. If you try to explain you'll be wasting your time because i will never understand. In fact, I don't want to understand because it will lose its David Blaine wtf magical awesomeness.
