Armored Up!

I just got my Savage combo skids! I read that they were beefy, but I didn't realize how beefy they were until I got them. Awesome design, clean welds, very high quality stuff...just like the sliders I got from him awhile back.

Roy was awesome! He even dropped them off for me because he was in the area. I just test fitted the skids and they bolted in perfectly. Now to paint. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Since everyone likes pics:

I even got a Christmas card:

Total was $488.92 (including tax) and I gave an extra $20 because the owner dropped it off for me. This was the discounted price for Black Friday. Normally, it's $499 before tax.

Very nice. I'm jealous. That setup is on my list just kind of far down the list right now.
Post some pics when you get it installed. Did it ship already painted? I like the way these skids are setup to have access to the oil drain plug.

Will do. They're not painted. I'm not sure if Savage does paint. I'm trying to decide whether I want to spray it or use roll on bedliner.

Oh ok. I didn't think they painted them. Guess my eyes aren't the best anymore, they almost looked painted to me.

I vote spraying them, touching them up would be really easy. Thats what I'm planning on doing.
