Anyone running Lexus GX 470 wheels? What hubcaps?

I put a set of GX 470 wheels on my 4Runner... love the look and the little bit of added height (went with 265/70 tires, which don't seem to rub at all).

But they have Lexus wheel centers. I wandered all over a Toyota dealership lot comparing the GX center caps to all the 4Runners, Tacomas and 1st gen Sequoias I could find, but none is quite the same.

Anyone found one that works?

I'm debating pulling the Lexus badges off of them and painting them either black or dark grey Plastidip. The contrast might be interesting.

I think FJ80 caps would look good.

I heard you could swap out the chrome Lexus badges with chrome Toyota badges from a 4th gen. It's worth a shot. Cheaper than buying a set of hub caps too.

I wonder if they'd fit, though. Lots of different sizes, it turns out. Toyota doesn't seem to have been very consistent.

That is worth a try. I will have to look around and see if I can find right-size Toyota badges. The Lexus ones are separate.

I wasn't specific in my original post. I mean the chrome Toyota badges from 4th gen hub caps. I would measure them to be sure.

Yeah... I wonder if they can be bought separately? Probably not... but, man, that would be an easy and elegant solution.

Man, that looks great - but those are different wheels than mine. I have these, but in the standard silver finish

I have a GX470 rim for a spare, unfortunately the Tundra/Sequoia split spoke centercap will not fit. That's all I've tried anyway. I'd also try swapping the logos from the caps, there's only 3 tabs holding them in anyway.

Thats what I was thinking would work. Is it close? Cuz im using the 3 spoke caps with my tundra 17s, they might work?

The tundra cap was too large altogether and just wouldn't fit.

Good to know on the Tundra cap. That was one I saw at the Toyota dealer today (used car lot had a nice variety of six-bolt Toyota truck wheels to compare with). I didn't think it would work, but it looked like the closest. I didn't pull any off of vehicles - just hand-measured.
