Calipers stuck in mornings then drives fine.

Every morning lately when I put my truck into drive it doesn't move, I give it a little gas "pop" (from what sounds like the front brakes releasing) then every things fine and it drives like normal. My brake fluid is at the min but is still clear.

Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

I have no idea what the weather is like there, but does it park outside? any ice/snow?

mine has down that a few times the last few days also, the tires were frozen to the ground.

Are you sure it's the fronts? Do you use the e-brake? It sounds like what happens when the bellcranks on the e-brake cable freeze up in the rears. To rule it out, try not using the e-brake.

It is cold outside and thats when this started. Also I do use my e-brake but I'm almost sure its the fronts that pop. Ive had the rears stick before but I fixed that a while back.

Do you have OEM brake pads? Some aftermarket ones can make this sound.

I still think its your tires freezing to the ground. try parking with some small sections of dry cardboard under your tires, and see if it still happens.

because stuck calipers don't release like that. and generally, when they are stuck, they stay stuck, and get tighter the more you use them.
