Noob interested in installing halos

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about installing halo/angel eyes in a 3rd gen? Wondering where they are available and if installing a foreign object (halos) near the reflectors will effect projection at all... Once again excuse me if its kind of a nooby question lol

there are a lot of posts on headlamp retrofits including halos here. search that and you'll have what you are looking for. several guys have them and they look great.

I'm assuming you want to install halo's along with projectors, because I really cant picture anyone doing halo's in a nonprojector headlight lol.

For the source, check these guys out:

The Retrofit Source Inc

If your gonna do a projector retrofit w/halos, I'd say halo's are not the part you should be concerned about, since they are pretty straight forward and easy to do. The projector retrofit difficulty depends on which projector you order. Of course, the larger projector, the more work it will take for it to fit, and for the shroud to fit.

There are company's and a few members on here who offer services like @rickashay but if you think you can handle it, go for it; just take your time.

I did the FX-R projector for my 3rd gen this past January....not really a choice projector for someone's 1st retro, lol. I had to cut and modify A LOT, but the output is damn worth it. I did not however do the halo addition, but have a friend who has and like I said, thats nothing to worry about when it comes down to difficulty.

Any more questions, just lmk.

Oh! And read read read hidplanet.com for a shit ton info.

I swear I must've done 2 months of just researching and reading so I could jam everything one time before I tackled it....plus, I needed to graduate college so I could have some free time lol!
