Suspension lift question

Recently I purchased a 1996-2002 Toyota 2 & 4WD 3" suspension lift kit from Revtek Suspensions. After ordering it online I've been processing it through my head after reading the installation page for the product. The kit come withs a differential drop kit but I was wondering if the differential drop kit can be applied to the front (in case of 4wd) or back (in my case 2wd) I found it out that it is compatible (according to the kits title) with both 2wd and 4wd models, and was looking for some advice/closure on my purchase. I guess what my real question is, can the differential drop kit be installed to the back of the vehicle like it can for the front without a problem? I know I should probably trust the title of the product but my friends have also found it odd that the kit will work on 2wd as well as 4wd

i don't imagine you would use a diff drop on a solid axle... only really applicable to IFS

The diff drop is only for the front diff to help with CV angles. You have a 2wd runner, so there is no front diff for you. You will not need a diff drop.
