@amalik
, I didn't realize they said turn signals. But yes, for my 99 the 7440 bulb is what it calls for. These fit perfectly fine and I have not had any problems with them in the last 2 months.
Not a whole lot going on. Pretty swamped with work right now (downside of working in agriculture) due to blueberries, peaches and apples getting going down here in GA. But this past weekend I helped my buddy replace his valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and cleaned his MAF and TB. The experience gave me confidence to do the same work on my 4Runner in the future, but I did clean my MAF and TB as well since we were already at it. I also added a flat platform style roof rack that seems like it will work perfectly for me for work during this growing season. I will post more on that as it gets put through the paces.
Ended up getting a 5th gen to keep the 3rd gen company. The 5th gen is a 2017 sr5 4wd. The 3rd gen is staying with me as well since it is my first vehicle and there is too much sentimental value in it. It will be used for the fun, messy stuff I don't want to put the 5th gen through yet.
And the 5th gen's first "mod", running board removal. Funny enough, these running boards now sit with the 99's running boards in my basement.
Woohoo! New truck. Its much too pretty for you to ride around in. lol. Enjoy it man! Doyle, I'll be in Athens for my sons XC meet in a couple of weeks. Lets grab lunch or something.

Hey Dizzy, went through this build thread again. Glad I met you while I was at UGA. Those days in Athens were the best times of my life. Going through the pictures made me miss athens and the youth I had when I was there! I haven't been back since graduating in 2013. Great to see you've met other t4r members after me as well! Thanks for sharing your journey man, and thanks for the pictures throughout Athens and North Georgia. Been living in Boston MA for past 5 years and its city life, no landscape/sunsets/smell like the good ole' Georgia. Heck the mud here ain't even red!
@bak3rme
, thanks for the kind words. Those days were awesome for sure! Miss the old days of bsing and getting the 2wds to places they had no business going! If you every come back down to GA let me know and we will get up and bs like old times.
The tires are fine. I have no complaints about them at all. At the time, there were not that many options in the 275/70/17, but now that has changed. I also ended up going with Falken Wildpeak Atw3s on the 5th gen and they have been great as well.
