Need additional 1/2" lift

So I bought the Bilstein/OME lift from Yotamafia with 881s in the front and 890s in the rear. The lift is advertised as 2.5" for both front and rear. I like where the rear sits, but the front is too low for my taste, too much rake. I then installed the 5mm trim packers and got a little more front lift (supposed to be 6.5mm lift) but still not enough. I'm wondering if anyone on here has used the 5100s with the 881 springs and set the circlip on anything other than the lowest setting? It is supposedly not recommended, not really sure why. Alternatively, is there a spacer that would provide 1/2" lift or so that I could use with the 5100/881 combo?

TIA!

The Bilstien 5100 front shocks are adjustable, right?

You should be able to adjust the front shocks to increase the lift (unless you have them maxed out already)

Yeah, you should be able to adjust the spring perch on the 5100 with a certain tool. You don’t want to exceed a certain height, ymmv, in an effort to prevent your CV’s from binding.

If you don’t have one yet, you could always install a diff drop kit as well to help with preservation of the CV’s. I know that’s a controversial thing, but that’s what I have done and recommend doing.

I should have clarified- the springs are on the bottom perch and Yotamafia, and supposedly Bilstein do not recommend raising it above that with OME springs. Not sure why and wondered if anyone here has done it. That’s the easy answer to me but “not recommended”. Anyone have any experience with this setup?

I have this set-up. Here is how it sits with the front shock on the second perch. It's a very slight rake, maybe 1/2". I have a Trail Gear tube bumper I need to install which I suspect will have the back end pretty close to level with the front when unloaded.

Apologies for the bad lighting. Didn't realize sun in the background was that bright.

This is the perfect application for a top plate spacer:

1/4" THICK SINGLE STRUT TOP PLATE SPACER, FOR 95+TACOMA, 96+ 4RUNNER, 99-06 TUNDRA, 07+ FJ CRUISER

You'll also get 1/2" more droop...

That 1/4” spacer is essentially the same as the trim packer that is currently on there. Not enough lift and I can’t add another. MCgrease08- I like the stance on yours a lot. How long have you been running that on the second notch? And was it really hard to get the strut mounted? Mine was very hard even on the lowest perch.

It's been about a year since I refreshed the suspension. I had an offroad shop do the install since they were also doing work to patch up a few questionable rust spots in the frame, so I can't speak to how easy or hard it was.

I did have to reboot (and stretch boots) on the CV axles. They tore pretty much immediately afterwards, but they were original afaik, and that would have happened if I had it on the first perch or the second.

It's been solid since I got an alignment.

A "trim packer" would generally be on the spring - did you use a small top plate spacer already?

Which specific front Bilstein shocks did you use? There are a few options that are all 'bolt-on' and a kit from a random vendor could use any of them...

Yes it is a spacer plate. Looks exactly like the one you linked to. Shocks are the 5100s.

I'll say it again. There are a number of 5100's that fit. Which ones? There will be a model number on the sticker of the shocks.

Do you have aftermarket UCAs? If so, what brand and how does everything work as far as alignment, etc?
