OME 890's with Sonoran steel bumpstops

Anyone here using this combo in the rear? If so how did you order them online off the site? Or phoned it in? As I went to go order some but they asked me for more specifics like the lift springs I'm using and shocks as well as shock travel.

That is the setup that came with my SS 7.1 kit. They use OME trim packers and extended shocks though. I was told the trim packers are needed to keep necessary to keep the springs from falling out at full droop with the extended shocks.

I would just call, Steve will get you set up.

Why do you want to extend the bumpstops?
Especially with 890 coils.
The stock center jounce bumpers (that are inside the rear coils on later 3rd gens) already limit compression. I cut some of the donuts off mine to be able to compress to the stock bumpstops.

The bump stops that SS makes are designed for the specific shock you're using... Not necessarily for the spring

The only REAL reason to extend the bumpstops is because of a longer shock that when fully compressed, the axle does not come in contact with the original bumpstops. Some add extended bumpstops to keep the suspension from compressing to keep the tires from rubbing.

Personally, as much compression and droop you can get, the better.

The reason why is because my shocks are longer than stock I end up hitting my pan hard lift bracket on hard dips so my extending the bump stops I can lessens the blow a bit
