Taking a 112 mile trip there, 112 mile trip back..

Picking up a parts car in Esmond, Illinois. Renting a u-haul dolly & bring the car back to milwaukee. Anything should take into consideration? Changing tranny fluid, etc. I don't know when the last time its been changed since I got it in on a trade & ik hauling a car back on a dolly should add some stress on the tranny.

Last thing I would want happening is my tranny going out on the way back. It had 138k when I got it, & is now at 148k. All stock. With the exception of bigger tires.. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure it will be fine to drive your truck for 4 hours.

that's a tank of gas (without the uhaul). Unless you don't trust your 4runner to do a tank of gas worth of driving, I wouldn't worry.

I'll do a 300 mile trip without even checking the oil.

Lol thanks guys. I actually checked the fluids before I left. Except the tranny fluid cause there's no dipstick! I ended up using a trailer. Spent $100 just on gas!!
