[*] {NEW} Page_Name | hour
CA Smog Stickers
You need these printed out and glued or taped on the vehicle to pass CA smog. They typically fall off after install and are hard to come by. See pictures attached.
* 3rd Gen 4Runner headers. Technically this sticker is for a Downey set of headers. Downey never stamped their headers with any markings and they are now out of business. If you need a sticker to pass smog this might very well work. Despite going out of business the carb code and sticker is still valid.
* K&N CAI for 97 V6 4Runner

Nice Brian. This should help everyone.
For the quick torque specs, the auto tranny bolt spec is 15ft/lb for any newbie who isn't aware of it. Also, at least for my 99, the front diff fill plug is 29 ft/lbs and the drain fill plug is 48 ft/lbs.
SafteyDang's YT TB/H20 change if you want to include it:
SafetyDang Tv Timing Belt and Water Pump Ep 4 - YouTube
I know there was a list of OEM part numbers in a thread that was compiled maybe late last year, but I don't see it here. I have a list that fits my 99 if you want to start another one going.
I'd love to see Spongerx's ITR and OTR threads included here. They helped me.

For sure. If you have specific links please include them in your posts or send a PM.
About the torque specs, those were a carry-over so I assumed correct. I will edit them to match.

Thanks for the refresh Brian. I feel like we should make a new refresh thread every so often so there's a bunch of threads out there with all this info in it. It might help this stuff to pop up in the search.

I will make a real concerted effort to get all the links for DIY ans such that have merit posted to this thread after Monday.
Here is a link for part numbers for 95-00 Tacomas along with prices from I'm guessing 5+ years ago. I don't how much such will help 4runner owners, but I thought I would include it anyway:

Great work. I know what a pain that is because I can never make any progress cleaning and organizing my own bookmarks of over 150 links covering all kinds of repairs. For your consideration, I am attaching my own faq file drawn from my own posts over the years that I cut and paste when needed.
The fan clutch test, ADD/VSV diagnosis, coolant discussion (Ray has it in his faq at Ih8mud), and the sensor 101 seem to be needed on a regular basis here.
EDIT: How come this forum accepts .doc files but not .docx? I had to convert it to get it on here. .docx started in 2007.... sheesh.

I pulled those torque specs from TTORA.
Sorry if they're not right. :/

If anyone knows any other links that could be added please post them.
I definitely feel there are some other good threads out there .
I'm probably going to make the #2 reserved spot a place to post great other threads like building a subwoofer box in your rear storage compartment or building to your ownncabinets etc.
I also believe there are some great stereo threads I'm missing. Snorkeling? What else?
