I love mine too! I went with the 891's in the rear with absolutely no regrets!

Do you have much weight in the rear cause the 891s are stiffer? How do those ride? I love mine too it's perfect!

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts on the boss kit. I'm assuming you went 285's as far as tires go?
It looks really great!
I have 265/70/17 and would love that lift but my tire option would look funny I think. Although, I might go with the new 255's in the duratracs! I'm sold on these tires, love them
Anyways, two thumbs up, looks great!

Thanks man! Yeah I went with 285/75/16. I love the duratracs too they're awesome. They fit great but they're pretty close on the inside to the UCAs so I'm gunna grind them down a little bit. The 255s would be awesome. In the first pictures when I still had my stock tires those are the same size as you have so that'd be what it'd look like for you without the larger tires. Thanks for the complements!

How's the handling?
I want to use the same Toytec BOSS kit to lift my truck. But I was wondering how these lift kits affect handling at high speed (>65mph). I have a 2 1/2 yr old toddler and I was a little worried that lifting might compromise handling of the truck in the freeway.

I have the boss kit and can cruise 70 down the freeway with no hands on the wheel if I want...
I think that if anything it handles better on the freeway than my 4Runner did with the worn stock components.
Of course around tight corners (that you should slow down for anyway) it will tend to lean a bit more... But it's nothing horrible.

I commute a lot on the freeway and I have quite the led foot unfortunately. So I'm usually going 75-80 on the freeway and it feels really stable, I feel more planted on the ground then I did with my stock suspension that would feel like I was floating all over and wasn't very stable. Obviously the center of gravity is a little higher, so take that in consideration when turning at high speeds, but then again it's a lifted truck so that shouldn't be done in the first place lol. In my opinion I feel more comfortable on the freeway now at the same speeds because of the stiffer much improved suspension.

Wow, yeah i was thinking those were maybe 265/60/16 because they just look small!! And goofy looking it's amazing how perfect the new tires fit. I could go that route but would feel the need for gears. Do you guys have those stupid huge speed humps that they put on like 30 mph roads? Man I'll tell yeah those things rock my worn out suspension, they drive me nuts! Oh well in a few more months it will be my turn to lift. Keep the good reviews coming my mind is changing more and more with each post!

Luckily not too many speed bumps where I live lol, yeah the stock tires were 265/70/16 and they were way too small with the lift, very happy with how the 285s fit. If you go the same route I did you won't be disappointed! Good luck in the future with your lift!

Has anyone who has these had them on any rough roads? where I live the roads are less than ideal and im looking for a lift that will take the bumps pretty easily and I drive quick on a lot of rocky dirt roads and rough washes and want to not feel like im bouncing all over the place.

Very good question, I too have very poor road conditions in some parts of town but my main problem when exploring back roads are the washboards on dirt roads. When going up hill and hitting those I just lose traction, right now the only way for me to counter act this problem is to lock the rear axle ( gray wire mod) by doing this I can climb any road with them pesky washboards and do fine. Other then that I can do 4wheel drive but hate to be in 4x4 unless necessary.
Thanks for the kind words Daniel, look forward to watching the progress of your rig.

By the way, where about NorCal are you from?
Redding or close too? I just ask because I used to spend my summers in shingletown a little east of redding. Loved exploring that area.

My buddy has the soft front eibacks and is stiff as hell compared to my ome setup. In the dirt is just rough. I don't see how everyone says they ride so smooth.

I'm in the Bay Area, but this summer I have a trip planned up in that area (kinda) going to do the modoc backcountry trail to the Oregon border
