oxygen sensor

My 98 needs a oxy sensor and I was told bank 1 sensor 1...went to the aftermarket supplier and he had only one listing from delphi #es20072....I got the impression he did not know what he was doing...left me unsure ..I have the sensor ,but can anyone tell me before I install if the frt and rear sensor are the same? I also picked up high temp permatex (copper) sealant... the kit does have a gasket..Is it necessary to use the sealant?

Go here to find your Denso part number. Then go on Amazon, or just Google the part number, to find the best price. Denso's come with a gasket, no sealant needed, but I recommend copper anti-seize on the threads. If you live in the salt zone, you will need new nuts (90179-08059 at the stealer or any M8-1.25 nut you can find.
