new to 4runners need advise

In the middle of buying a 2000 4runner sr5 for 8500.Only has 73000 miles on it. I noticed when looking at it the passenger rear tire was worn weird. The car fax said it was in a wreck. The dealership had the service department look at it
they said it's has a bent axel housing which they would replace with a used housing. put in new gears and seals.they had the frame checked said it was fine.Question is should I run again I'm new to all this

If the dealership only offered to fix it after you pointed out the damage, I'd run on general principle. If you decide to go forward with looking at that truck, have it checked out by another mechanic or service department.

Tell them to send pics of the frame. I was in talks to buy a Runner back in the day out of Chicago and they told me the frame was in "great" condition. After I saw the pics, there was no way I was buying it. Especially at the price they were asking.

Chassis doesn't matter at this point. Ten to one says they already knew that axle was bent, and were hoping you wouldn't notice. What else do they know that they aren't telling you?

They're shady. Run away.
