UPS stores accept deliveries, some charge a very small fee, some dont. It can also be held at the nearest Southeastern Freight Service center if there's one nearby.

I'm on the Western Slope of Colorado if anybody wants to try to ship together. I have family in Grand Junction and Durango so I can pick up/deliver pretty much anywhere.

I'm sure we could work something out. I don't get to Denver too often but if you're willing to hold on to it for a few weeks either me or a friend will be in the area and could pick it up.

Sorry man, these are all I took way back when. Check the original thread here: Whitson Metalworks 3/4 Roof Rack for photos from another member.

Mr Whitson,
looks like smightly970 and I are in with a combo ship.
what is shipping cost of 3 to Denver, 80205? would it be nominally more expensive than 2? i.e., if 2 cost @ $140, and 3 cost $150, each person's shipping share would drop from $70 to $50, capiche?

gotcha, for three racks the quote is 170 which would be about 57 bucks per. Is there a third or was that just for instance? Whomever the addressee will be, PM me and I can start lining things up. Thanks guys!

That was for instance.
I am committed along with smightly970. I am hoping a third Coloradan will buy one. I will pm smightly970 to confirm and ask him to pm you to confirm. The combo shipment is key for me, otherwise cost is too much.
Looks like right now 275 x 2 + 140 shipping = 690/2 = 345 apiece, correct? If another local joins in we can settle the shipping difference amongst ourselves.
Will you please add to your first or second post that 2 Coloradans are combining shipping to Denver, if another wants to join in his shipping cost will be $57 instead of $140 if purchased alone? Perhaps have a basic list like this for each combo ship order so a potential purchasers will know this without having to read through the entire thread? A simple running tally may be useful and ease the process of matching purchasers. Or not.
As soon as smightly970 confirms I will paypal you. Shall we wait until you are ready to ship to pay for the shipping?

So tempting! But between just buying a house 3 weeks ago, and getting married in August I'm going to have to do the responsible thing and stop looking at this thread. Becoming an adult sucks. I'm not going to be able to throw money at the 4runner like I have in the past.

Give in to the temptation! My wife and I bought a house in January, so now I'm mowing neighborhood lawns like a middle-schooler to pay for this rack and a CBI hybrid.
Stupid adulthood.

C'mon. Do it. You know you want it. You'll be adding value, not throwing money. This is a hand crafted superior quality made in the USA piece of equipment with can't-pass-it-up once-in-a-lifetime pricing! Including big big big savings on shipping ($57 vs $140).
Strike while the iron's hot. Bust a move. Blah, blah, blah, etc.
