a/c compressor "screech" wen compressor engages or cycles?

Does not seem to effect a/c at all and it is 100% full just that the clutch seems to be making noise only upon cycling and it has been doing this since I got the truck so not sure if others may have ran in to this or not?

You sure it's the clutch and not the belt?

I am sure its the clutch and belts are all new oem as I just did the timing belt and the tension is right as well.

I almost sure the clutch is worn or getting worn as the compressor operation is quiet and the air is quite cold.
It is only when the clutch comes on or off otherwise it's quiet.

Then it's the compressor.

could be the clutch, but they typically screech during the entire period they're engaged. And when installing new belts, its very typical to need to re-tighten them a few weeks later due to a bit of stretching.

It's really easy to check if it's the belt. You'll SEE it slipping. Pop the hood and watch it and have someone else turn the AC on. You can do the same with the PS belts by having someone turn the wheel.
