ABS-TRC-VSC control module 89540-35270

After many months of driving around with the ABS, both VSC, check engine, and brake lights on and no speedometer or odometer I finally took my 2001 to the stealership and after 3 hours of diagnosis told me I needed a new Skid assembly, part 89540-35270. I wasn't going to pay $1900 for a new one so I ordered one off eBay for $165 but now I'm wondering, does anyone know the location this doohickey goes or have a write up on how to replace it? Much thanks in advance.

Mine went bad as well on my 02 but the skid control module is the brake master cyl which has abs vsc all built in to one unit.

yes that's what this part is, the VSC-TRC-ABS control module. The part from eBay worked! The check engine light and brake light turned off, and the speedometer and odometer started working again. The VSC lights and the ABS light are still on though. My mechanic said these would probably turn off by themselves after a short while but I've driven over 200 miles and they are still on. Any ideas on how to get these lights to turn off? Also, I brought the T4R in to the valvoline place for an oil change and fuel system cleaning and they noted some sensor located right near the oil filter that was just dangling. They said they think it's the "oil pressure sensor" however I've searched and found no such part. It's not causing any error codes, but maybe it's why the VSC and ABS lights won't turn off? If it's not an oil pressure sensor, what on earth could it be?

Most likely you need to do the zero point calibration to get those lights off but the best way would to put it on a scan tool to see whats going on for sure.

Pull the abs codes as a starting point from the diagnostic connector under the hood on the intake manifold if you don't have a scan tool.
