Anybody want a Hilux Surf?
Mark @ Brave Auto has another Hilux Surf SSR-G for export, this one has an intercooler! And it's priced very nicely, somebody snap this thing up!!!
Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-G 3.0L Intercooled Turbo Diesel Wide Body

It's about $1000CAN to ship to Vancouver with insurance, costs more than than to get it from Vancouver to Winnipeg so I'd say it's pretty reasonable.
I've got an HDJ81 Land Cruiser coming in at the end of August from the same guy, and I bought my previous HDJ81 and Hilux Surf from him as well, great seller, buys only the nicest stuff.
Unfortunately for you US guys, it's not 25 years old yet. But someone north of the border should snap this up!

My post disappeared!
Yeah, it got a diesel engine with twin batteries! This is the setup I want!
It got retract mirrors... and rear mirror which is a very helpful thing when you back up or attaching a trailer. Take a look at the rear passenger carpet. It is a REAL carpet and what we have here is 8X10 piece and with kids you can imagine what they can do to the main floor carpet. No hilux surf as far as I know comes with rear diff lock. That's a down on those surfs.
Oh! right hand driving... your right hand will turn the hea dlights and turn signals and left hand is now for the wipers! First few days you'll turn signal when it rains and you'll hit wipers when you want to make a turn! Thankfully gas and brake are still in the same order

Dang, that's sweet. The right hand drive would be funky for a while, but hilarious to have a buddy slumped over the left side door driving down the road lol. Wonder how much it would cost once it got to Florida?

25yrs is the magic number to bring imported vehicles into the USA. Unless your SOR, CRUISER OUTFITTERS, CRUISERPARTS.NET, ETC.

After 25 years it's considered classic. No inspection needed....

I wish our rules matched Canada's rules. I'll never likely own something this cool because they import into Canada, and get driven around on salt laden winter roads for 10 years, then finally we can import them into the US. So all we get are rusty trucks.
Thanks Obama

Nice rig! Good deal!
There's a dealer here in the Okanagan, that sells a ton of Japanese imports---- we have lots of Hilux Surfs-- diesel and gas, Caribs (Corolla 4WD's), Landcruisers etc., most running around town.
I've driven RHD's and LHD's---- no big deal!

Looks like it's reserved already, figured something that sweet wouldn't last long.
