Replacing rear links: Use Gen2 rear or Gen3 front?

Need to replace my rear sway bar links and want to go ~1" longer to compensate for the 3" suspension lift. I have been told either Gen 2 rears or Gen 3 fronts will both fit and are longer than the OE rears I'm replacing. Any reason to go with one over the other?

I know there are some beautiful custom links available from guys here, but was planning on getting some Moog replacements for the time being since spare funds are being diverted elsewhere at the moment.

3Gen fronts have been working well for me... couldn't say on the 2Gens.
