it is a 3" lift. here is the kit i bought:
BK9602 - 3" lift ToyTec/Bilstein kit for 96-02 4Runner

i bought new upper hats, and i recommend you do the same if youre after a lift kit that doesnt include tops. i am satisfied with the lift, but i will eventually get coilovers.

tires are wildpeaks, size is 285/75/16.

Thanks! Looks great! I currently have an ICON Stage 2 lift which I don't think I'm getting 3" of lift from. Bought the truck as is and still have to figure that out. Tires are 255/75R17 and I've been trying to research options for a little wider tire without going too much bigger in diameter.

according to google that lift is 0-3". so it just depends on how youve got it setup.

if it matters, my wheels are 16x8 -25 offset (3.5 backspace, the more aggressive of the two). i went with the lower offset as i liked the 'stance' and since i have a lower offset, it clears the 33s better on the inner fenderwell side.

i use this website to check tire sizes:
https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...=8&offset2=-35

its for stretched tires (what i was into before i had my 4runner), but it still works out great for just general number plugging in. really helps compare setups.

What's your setup (lift etc)? I recently picked up what I think (from the photo) is the same vehicle. All stock for now...

Pics and buils sheet

Here are a few more pics and my build sheet... I share this so you have the exact part numbers and parts installed on my 2001 SR5. Everything worked and fit great, took longer than expected... unlike Timmy's video's which are great btw., we dealt with rusted frozen broken bolts and replaced a bit more of the suspension parts in the process of doing the job... Things broke... be patient it's not that difficult. I used a lift so that was the great part.

For anyone who critiques the parts list or prices, I don't care... THis guy who built a similar rig and has an emerging parts co. was great... just a phone call away even face time. Well worth the time with him and to buy the parts from him... Especially when puzzled with the coils in the compressor, we were way over compressed... a time bomb on the bench.

The FN wheels were purchased direct from FN

Thanks for sharing @gmjr99 . Great info and it looks fantastic. Good to know about the coils. Checked out the sswmotorsports page and I think I see what you mean by "emerging!"

@Aged10Years what about yours? Another good data point I think, since that looks like the exact model I picked up (even color).

[Apologies for not being clearer about which rig I was asking about, but that info is super helpful anyway.]

No problem...that's what you get when work is slow! Also all sorts of other small goodies like bushings, extended rear SS brake line, wheels off a 4th gen Tacoma (I believe) powder coated. Nothing outrageous but she definitely gets me where ever it is I need to go.

Hopefully you're using the time to plan your next adventure. She looks great and it sounds like a nice set of upgrades. Cheers.
