Went on a 4000 mile road trip this summer. These are the Tetons up in Wyoming. Girlfriend shot the photo.

Sounds familiar, I had an 03 🌮 and have missed it from the day I let it go. Now I’m shopping for a 3rd gen 4Runner to accommodate the family a little better.

Do you have much time/use on the Eaton? Your specs are basically what I think I’m aiming for (once I find the runner platform to build off of) I’ve been thinking ARB but I forgot about Eaton.

I can’t speak for the Runners but my old 03 🌮 had a mild lift in the front (silly P.O. lifted onto the front 🤷*♂️) but on 265’s and basically stock suspension I did almost every trail a cow mountain, which is outside of Ukiah and pretty much everything at Lake Pillsburry and there are elk up there. There’s a lot of land to cover and explore up north, Shasta/Trinity NF and around Shasta Lake.

Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Nice looking setup, I'm in awe of all your camping gear! So cool, I need to drag my stuff out and do an inventory so I can make sure we're ready to go soon.

I noticed your hi-lift jack in there -- where are you planning to lift the vehicle with that if needed? That thing is likely to rip off the stock bumpers and side steps. Do you have bumpers and rock sliders coming?

Really digging the front grille with Raptor lights as well as the heritage stripes. Been looking for someone who put them where you did and they look as cool as I thought they would. Well done.

Two comments:

1. Hell yes to the white lettering -- it's awesome, I'm planning to do that with my next set of tires.

2. Amazing looking truck, love the 2-tone color -- so classic!

Thank you ! & Sliders next yes , and I’m looking at what bumpers to get. I like them all for the most part so I’m trying to figure that part out.

New guy here with my newly acquired 1999 2.7L 2WD. She’s in good shape and will be replacing my 2006 Suburban that’s getting tired. This 4Runner has 181000 miles on it, and the records of maintenance go back to 2010. I’m hoping I can ride this girl out to at least 300K miles. I don’t like car payments so I decided on reliability!
