Trade: Black Pearl Metallic Emblems
Hi all,
I've been working on getting the runner ready for winter and my gold emblems weren't looking the best. I have painted them black pearl metallic however the color just doest pop on a black 4runner. If anyone is looking for a straight up trade, I'd like a full set of chrome emblems. Let me know if interested, sorry for the camera phone quality.

I'm assuming yours is a Limited, but is it a 96-00 or 01-02? That makes a difference as the front grille emblem is a different size on the 01-02's.

Did not know that. Yes the emblems are from a 2002 limited. Not sure why the other pics aren't loading.

Dang that paint looks very good. I picked up some Krylon dual superbond and went with basic, but that color looks amazing wish I had some emblems to trade o well. I've already got all mine installed. Makes me think I wonder if anyone has a better idea on attach these to the vehicle cutting small pieces of doublesided tape is a pain in the neck

Those look sharp, I don't have the right emblems for you, but I might be stealing the idea for the color.

Thanks guys. I got the color idea from another 4runner. On his lighter color truck (silver) they looked great. Apparently the black pearl metallic was an option, sort of like the gold ones on my runner. Either way, the color just doest pop on my car, the blacked out look doesn't work so well with a two toned black and silver 4runner

Some Sport Editions came with "Black Chrome" emblems. They look really freakin' hot.

I switched out all of my Gold Emblems for Chrome. They were in decent shape but the Gold was looking dated. I bought a few new & a few used (mint condition) off E-Bay for cheap. I have free access to double sided foam tape here at work.
Now I'm wishing I bought the Sport Edition Black Chrome instead. Probably a lot harder to find & not cheap. The center caps on the 4th Gen Sport wheels I just bought have the Black Chrome logo's.

I may be interested, my badges are plasti-dipped black, but would be easy to remove. Only thing I'm worried about is the reinstall.

Emblems
I'm interested. I wanted an extra set to line-x... Hope that doesn't affend you since you just painted them. Very impressed though. Every time I paint something it's uneven, too light of costs, or too heavy of coats. Glad that's not my day job....
With that said how much shipped to California?

I still have some of my original chrome emblems back at my parents place, I have the TOYOTA, 4Runner, SR5, and 4WD ones off of the back lift gate (I'm still using the logo on back) and the front logo. Sorry no limited emblems though. They're plastidipped but that would be easy to remove if you want some or all of them from my 01. I can get pictures this weekend when I'm back there if your interested
