muffler?

What is a good muffler that is quiet but flows well? I want some sound but not much want to keep it quiet. Flowmaster 40 series is a little too lound just as an example.

I put a magnaflow stainless muffler on my 4R. There is a little more noise, but it is very mild compared to the Flowmaster muffler. It opened up my engines capability to accelerate easier and I have no issues with the new muffler.

The Borla Turbo XL 40665 is about the best you will find I think.
Size fits perfect.
It sounds almost stock at idle, very quiet, has a nice throaty sound when you give it gas and a bit of a Borla growl at WOT.

Its only $93 delivered to your doorstep.

For those interested i ended up getting a Magnaflow 2.5 12586. It fit the stock piping pretty well but i had to flare out the tailpipe just a little or there would have been a small gap to fill. Sound is great at idle it just a little louder than stock. Driving normal you can barely here it but hit the gas and it make some nice noise, deep, clean, not overly loud and no tin can or raspy noise. If you want it a little louder a smaller Magnflow 11336 or 11226 would be a good choice or a Flow Master 40 series. I went with a stock length muffler at 21".
