Thanks! I found the front bumper on craigslist from a 2000-limited. Craigslist is always just about getting lucky. Then I sold my old on CL as well. Could always go with Ebay too? Not sure the quality of the front bumpers, but the rear is pretty simple so that's what I went with. My rattle can paint quality isn't as good as the OEM front, but it's not that noticeable.

The LED reverse lights help a little with visibility, but not that much. They mostly just complete the blue-white LED look around the truck. For real visisbility, you would want to install some actual custom reverse lights in bumper, or rear of roof rack or something.
Yeah I'm like a hawk on craigslist looking for parts, but I never seem to find anything. I'll probably just get an ebay bumper and paint it myself since it's black it shouldn't be too hard to get a decent match. I'd like to add the fog lights like you did sometime as well.

That's good to hear about the reverse lights. Maybe I need to look into some flush mount ones for the bumper or figure out a way to mount some up higher or something. Thanks though.

Got a muffler for Christmas, and had it welded on. The increase in throttle response and power was noticeable, but it's a little louder than I expected. Not too bad though.

And went to the change the oil, and had an interesting time. Long story short, I have to dremel all my oil filters from now on! The motor mount - oil filter clearance is too tight, from what, I'm not sure yet ..

18". I went with a little quieter, and it's definitely louder than stock. With the deck-plate and ISR mods though when you're really revving, it's no louder since the engine is louder. At low rpms is when you notice the sound difference.

I'll have to find a good spot to set phone down and speed by. ;)

Is there not enough room for an oil filter cap wrench to unscrew it?

Here is my original thread on the issue:

Anyone else had issues tightening oil filter?

Basically, for some reason the motor mount is too close to the filter, and it causes it to not spin freely on. So everybody, including myself, have use wrenches and mangled the thing to get it on, which led to uneven surface, that would rub on the motor mount, and give the effect that it had stripped threads.

I realized that it's just too tight (not sure why yet), and dremeled down some material on the filter. It then went on perfectly, like it should.

Big question, why the hell is there no clearance?

That's very strange with the oil filter issue. Hopefully you can get that worked out. I'd like to hear a clip of the exhaust too. That's the same muffler I run on my 87 Supra I believe, I run it with a hushpower resonator as well. If it is too loud for you, you could always go with a longer muffler like a 24" or so. That should cut a little more of the noise too.

Nice truck, that chrome brings back the memories.

Are you planning on keeping your wheel color? I like the gunmetal. If I had more cash flow I would upgrade to some gunmetal wheels ..

That grill is crazy. I still want to do a Satosh at some point, just need to find a 96-2000 grill and some time.

Just fyi you need a 96-98 grille. The 99-00 grille is similar but would require a lot more body work to make it look good.

Nice looking rig! I'll be subscribing!

It looks like you were doing some hunting in the previous posts. What do you hunt and where at?

@Unner aw yes, thanks good call.

@jhuerta22 thanks. Yeah we were hunting pheasant in eastern CO last season. This season we've been doing club hunts for pheasant mostly, just because it's so sparse out there these days. Also duck hunting around Fort Collins area.
