Lift/Tire/Wheel central

After accidentally clicking the 4th gen link I noticed that there is a sticky specifically for those components. I know there are tons of pics out there but lets try to get them in one place. If its been done already for 3rd gens let me know and I'll get rid of this. Keep posts short and sweet
1. Lift brand & size/style
2. Tire brand & size
3. Like the results? or Would you do anything different?

5100/Eibach up front,Rough Country 3inch lift rear for now, 1.5Inch bodylift from @shootmymime (5100s up front by the end of the week)
255/80/17 Cooper st maxx on tundra split 5s

It was a cheap lift that got the job done, but now I have some money to spend so I'm doing it correctly (but slowly)

2. Falkin Rocky Mountain 285/75/16
3. OME 891's bring the sag if you carry the weight they recommend. The right is nice though, and I have no complaints about anything else.

Any rubbing with the 285/75 and stock wheels w/ no spacers?

I am going for the exact same wheel/tire combo and wondered if i need a wheel spacer as long as I have a lift?

Thanks,

You might have rubbing on the upper control arms with out after market uca's or spacers.

Thanks for the heads up. I assume i'll end up running spacers just to be safe.

1. Bilstein 5100 w/ TRD Tundra coils (2nd setting) up front
LC 7.5 wraps with Monroe Comfort Shocks for LC in rear

2. 16x8.5 Level 8 Strike 6s wrapped in 285/75/16 Falken Rocky Mountains

3. Love the ride. I pieced everything together, totaled just at $500. Soaks up all the bumps on our crappy roads here in Indiana. The tires have been awesome, not a single complaint on or off road. If you are willing to take a bit of time and look for some deals, you can have a great lifted ride for under $500.

You will have more rubbing with the lift because of the angle it creates on the UCA. With stock suspension the angle is enough where it will "sometimes" clear 285's. I would still get a little rubbing at full droop with 3" front lift, 285's, body lift and 1.25" spacers.

@MStudt @Millerad1651
Ordered 5100s that should be here today and after your pics I'm very happy I did. Gonna be running the Eibach lift coils and hope to pic up some lc coils soon. Both your rides look sick and I like the hight of the front. Thanks for posting

Thanks Jay for the info. Maybe I'll just run wheel spacers with the 285's and see how it goes before a lift. I might be the odd one out, but I would much rather pick up a roof rack and some lights before a lift.

Sorry OP for the thread jack, and thanks for starting this thread

Aw man I previewed my post instead of submitting, lost it.

Lift
Front: Bilstein 5100's @ lowest clip, Toytec/Eibach Springs
Rear: Bilstein 5100's & LC 8.? Wraps
1" Toytec Bodylift

Wheels/Tires
GY Duratrac 285/75/16 LR-E on Level 8 Trackers, 16x8.5, 3.75" BS

Impressions
I like it a lot. Rides great on and off road, minor rubbing that sounds like plastic, have yet to address as it only happens when I'm posing like a poon on boulders, don't really hear anything on trails.

Stock:

Done:

and level ground

Might as well jump in...

Lift: Sonoran Steel Lift 1.2 ~3 inches
  • Front - Bilstein 5100 w/ 2004 Tundra springs (2nd setting)
  • Back - 2004 Tundra shocks/springs

Wheels: Procomp (? not sure model#)
Tires:285/75/16 BFG KA (some rubbing when making hard right turn)

I need to get better pics but just installed lift the a few days ago.

Pic with Ruckus on back right before camping trip...

Pic right after lift and alignment

1. Front: OME 881 2" coils w/SS 1" lift sleeves/OME Sport Comfort Shocks, Rear: 7 wrap LC coils, Tokico Black LC Shocks, 1.5" Body Lift
2. 305/70r16 GT Radial Adventuro M/T
3. Love everything, ride, offroad. OME/s need front left spacer and rear trim spacer to level out, but other than that great.

Lift: Toytec Ultimate, with Superflex rear.

Wheels: SCS F5's, matte jet black, 3.5" backspacing.

Tires: Goodyear Duratrac 285/75-16

-I am very pleased with this set up, I had a 3" Revtek spacer lift prior to the Toytec Ultimate, and I must say that the performance off road and on road improved drastically. I have a 1" body lift sitting around that I will install eventually, just been too busy/lazy.

I'll contribute to this one

Lift - Sonoran Steel 1.2 - Tundra billies on third notch with Tundra TRD springs - TC UCAs
Tires - Cooper S/T Maxx 285/75/16
Wheels - Procomp 7069 16x8 4 inch back spacing

No rubs, no spacers. I plan on adding a small body lift in the coming months.

Impressions - I like them a lot. Tires are quiet on the road, provide great traction off road for an AT and look cool too.
